Recipe for Manx Smoked Kipper

Ingredients:

•   one Manx smoked kipper (smoked and not merely coloured)
•   two pieces of decent bread (buttered)

Directions:

1.   Fill a large frying pan with water and bring to the boil
2.   Lay the smoked kipper into the boiling water and cook both sides for 15 mins.
3.   Whilst the kipper is cooking butter two pieces of decent bread
4.   Remove the kipper from the pan and place on a plate with the buttered bread

Use a folk or fingers to pull away the meat, being careful not to eat larger bones. It’s recommended to go for two mouthfuls of fish for every one bite of the buttered bread.

Pardon the intrusion, but shouldn't this be under prose? It's not that poetic - by my standards.

edit: Hardly Crucible material either.
