personal agony?  societal frustration?  heartbreak?  scenery?  any combination or something I haven't mentioned?

Personally, I have drawn inspiration from all of the above, plus a few more I can't think of due to brain damage.

It can be many things. Something that's happened to me, something I witness in real life or on some glowing screen - inspiration for events can come from many places.

But as to the deeper subjects of poems, what they're about underneath the surface: hmmm, that's probably just a constant return to the things that run deep within me. As to what they are, i'm still trying to work that out, and I'm learning through writing.

Carter.

Mine comes from two places but on many differing degrees.
My biggest inspiration comes from my Ex but that inspiration splits off into catergories like so:
1)reminscences
2)poems of sorrow
3)poems of jubilance from when we were 2gether
4)poems of jubilance when i think we might get 2gether agen

my other inspiration is the physical pain i recieve from my spasmodic, burning, twisting stomach....that even the doctors can't fathom.
